Applesauce Chocolate Chip Cookies are so soft and delightful.  There is nothing that compares to a good old fashioned Applesauce Cookie.

Some of the good old recipes just can’t be beat.  Maybe they will bring some memories back for you, like they do for us. My most vivid memories of applesauce chocolate chip cookies are times spent with my oldest niece and nephews. My oldest sister makes the best applesauce cookies. She always had some at her home when I went to visit or play with her children. I am the youngest of 8 children and my oldest sister is 17 years older than me. Her oldest daughter (my oldest niece) is only 4 years younger than I am, so we played together a lot. She also had 3 younger boys and I got to go stay with them quite a bit. It is interesting how my memories are different than my children’s memories. I’m glad that I have been able to give them (and their friends) happy memories.  Go make some new memories for your children with these applesauce chocolate chip cookies!
